Rules

General Conduct

Our Discord is the home base for the Ascend community. Keep it welcoming so new players want to stick around.

• Treat every member with respect — no harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
• Keep conversations in English in the main channels so staff can moderate effectively.
• Follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
• Staff decisions are final. If you disagree, open a ticket instead of arguing in chat.

Text & Voice Channels

Use channels for their intended purpose and keep the experience clean for everyone.

• No spamming, flooding, or mass-pinging members or staff.
• No NSFW, gore, or otherwise disturbing content anywhere on the server.
• No mic spam, soundboards, ear-rape, or voice-changer abuse in voice channels.
• Keep discussions on-topic for the channel you are posting in.

Advertising & DMs

Ascend is not a place to grow your own project or scam other players.

• No advertising other servers, services, or self-promotion without staff approval.
• Do not send unsolicited DMs or advertisements to members.
• Never share scam links, fake giveaways, or malicious files.
• Report suspicious activity to staff with a ticket or a ping.

1. Respect & Community Conduct

• Treat all players and staff with respect.
• Excessive toxicity, harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
• Threatening players or staff with real-life harm will result in an immediate permanent ban.
• Excessive trolling intended to ruin gameplay may result in punishment.
• Staff decisions must be respected. If you disagree, open a support ticket instead of arguing in chat.

2. Cheating / Exploiting

Using cheats, mod menus, external software, exploits, macros, or anything that provides an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

Ban evasion using alternate accounts may result in an immediate permanent ban across all associated accounts.

Punishments

• 1st Offence → 14 Day Ban
• 2nd Offence → 30 Day Ban
• 3rd Offence → 60 Day Ban
• 4th Offence → Permanent Ban

Examples of Cheating

• Aimbot
• ESP / Wallhacks
• Triggerbots
• Godmode
• No recoil / no spread
• Combat macros
• Rapid fire scripts
• Vehicle spawning cheats
• Duping exploits
• Resource manipulation
• Third-party software giving unfair advantages

3. Exploiting Bugs

• Abusing server bugs or glitches for personal gain is prohibited.
• Any major exploit discovered must be reported to staff immediately.
• Purposely crashing the server or causing instability will result in severe punishment.

4. VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)

VDM is only punishable when there is no valid reason behind the action.

Punishable Examples

• Randomly running players over without interaction
• Using vehicles only to kill people for fun
• Repeatedly roadkilling players with no active conflict

Allowed Examples

• Gang fights
• Vehicle pursuits
• Escaping active combat
• Retaliation during ongoing PvP situations

Staff will review clips and context before issuing punishment.

5. RDM (Random Deathmatch)

• Randomly killing players with absolutely no reason is prohibited.
• This is a PvP/KOS server, so conflict is allowed, but there must still be a valid situation behind your actions.
• Killing fresh spawns repeatedly may be considered harassment.

6. Combat Logging

• Logging out during combat, raids, pursuits, or active situations is prohibited.
• Players must wait until the situation is fully over before disconnecting.
• Intentional combat logging may result in bans or gear wipes.

7. Safe Zones

• No killing, robbing, camping, or baiting inside designated safe zones.
• Do not lure players out of safe zones just to kill them immediately.
• Vehicles may not be used to block entrances or exits to safe zones.

8. Spawn Camping

• Repeatedly killing players at spawn locations is prohibited.
• Give players a fair opportunity to leave spawn areas.

10. Abuse of Game Mechanics

• Animation abusing
• Inventory glitching
• Vehicle physics abusing
• Any intentional abuse of mechanics for unfair advantages may result in punishment.

11. Staff Disrespect

The following may result in mutes, kicks, or bans:

• Arguing excessively with staff
• Ignoring staff instructions
• False staff reports
• Impersonating staff members

12. Advertising

• Advertising other servers, Discords, or communities without permission is prohibited.
• DM advertising to community members may also result in punishment.

13. Voice Chat Rules

• Mic spamming is prohibited.
• Ear rape / soundboards intended to annoy players are prohibited.
• Excessive screaming or disruptive behavior may result in a mute.

14. Vehicle Rules

• Intentionally crashing vehicles into players to exploit physics is prohibited.
• Using armored or bugged vehicles to exploit combat is prohibited.
• Purposely blocking roads or safe zones to grief players is prohibited.

15. Clan / Group Rules

• Clan members are responsible for their group’s actions.
• Mass rule-breaking by groups may lead to group-wide punishments.
• Zerging or excessively large unfair groups may be limited by staff.

16. Alternate Accounts

• Alternate accounts used for ban evasion are prohibited.
• Sharing accounts to avoid punishments is prohibited.

17. Recording Evidence

• Staff may request clips or screenshots during reports.
• Refusing to provide evidence in certain situations may affect report outcomes.
• Edited or fake clips may result in punishment.

18. Common Sense Rule

Not every situation can be covered in the rules. Staff reserve the right to punish players who intentionally ruin gameplay, abuse loopholes, or act in bad faith — even if the exact action is not specifically listed above.
